Chief Executive Officer
CHANCE RICHIE
Chance holds an MBA and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Masters in Environmental Engineering (focus in water chemistry) from Columbia University. Chance is also a DOE Certified Nuclear Engineer (Naval Reactors) and is a veteran of the Navy's submarine force (USS Alabama).
Chance is a pioneer in the application of unique chemistries across multiple basins, having sold environmental oilfield service and chemical companies to Waste Management, Inc. and Golden Gate Capital.

Chief Operating Officer
AMANDA RICHIE
Amanda holds various degrees and certifications, including an MBA from The University of Michigan, Ross School of Business, and a B.S. Mathematics from Albion College. She also has a Negotiation Training Certificate from Harvard University, as well as multiple industry certifications and awards.
Ms. Richie served as CEO and President of Plymouth Technology, a provider of innovative water treatment chemical solutions and services to various industries. In 2022, Amanda sold the business to The Vincit Group, where she then served as the Vice President of Business Development. ​

Chief Technology Officer
LAURA SANDERS
Laura holds several degrees and certifications, including a Masters in Chemistry from Georgia Tech and a B.S. in Chemistry from The University of North Carolina. During her tenure in research in the consumer products and Oil & Mining, Laura is co-author of nearly a dozen patents in polymer chemistry.
​Laura led the team as Global Product Manager Dispersants, Antiscalents, and Defoamers, Oil & Mining at Kemira where she oversaw start up and consolidation of European dispersant and polymer manufacturing.

Vice President of Business Development
PAUL LIBERATO
Paul Liberato is Vice President of Business Development at TexxChem. He brings decades of leadership in offshore safety, having served as President and CEO of Billy Pugh Company.
Paul is recognized for his expertise in global sales, product innovation, building strong industry partnerships, and his commitment to safety—earning the US Coast Guard Meritorious Public Service Award. He is responsible for establishing distributor relationships both domestically and internationally, bringing extensive global experience from his years at Billy Pugh.
Paul is dedicated to driving growth and delivering customer-focused solutions at TexxChem.

VP of Administrative Operations
CANDACE GOEMMEL
Candace grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and went to school at Kent State University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting. She then earned her CPA license and has worked in a variety of different accounting and tax positions throughout her career.
Candace spent three years in Atlanta, GA before moving to the greater Detroit, MI area in 1999 and has considered Michigan home ever since. Now that her two sons are grown, Candace has more free time to enjoy many different hobbies, including hiking, mountain biking and sailing.

President - Equipment Division
KEITH KARL
Professionally, Keith began at one the largest industrial and mill suppliers in the US, eventually becoming division sales manager, specializing in fluid sealing devices, lubrication systems, pumps, and chemical products. Keith then founded Water Resources Group and became a key channel partner for Sonitek’s Vortisand filtration systems, leading the company through multiple mergers and acquisitions with Evoqua Water Technologies. Keith then brought on a licensed Vortisand manufacturing partner, H2trOnics, which was later acquired by AquaPhoenix Scientific, where he successfully built a filtration product line and developed the NextSand filter.

Keith attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia on an athletic football scholarship, which is where he also met his wife, Donna.

Executive Advisor
LEONARD KALFAYAN
Leonard has a B.A. Degree in Chemistry from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University. He is the Principal of Kalfayan Consulting, LLC. He retired after 14 years with the Hess Corporation as Principal Advisor, Production Enhancement, and Head of Production Engineering and Stimulation.
He has broad global experience in the oil, gas and geothermal industries, primarily in production enhancement, new technology development and implementation, technical support and business development. He is a past SPE Distinguished Lecturer and SPE Distinguished Member. He is the author of over 30 SPE and other journal publications and holds 13 U.S. patents. He is also the author of the book Production Enhancement with Acid Stimulation (in its 2nd edition), co-author of the book The Energy Imperative, and co-editor and chapter author for the SPE Monograph: Acid Stimulation.
