TexxStim™ · WELLBORE PERFORMANCE RESTORATION
RESTORE WHAT RESTRICTS PERFORMANCE.
TexxStim™ is TexxChem's wellbore performance restoration additive line, designed for disposal wells with declining injectivity, production wells requiring restimulation, and any situation where fouling, scale, or near wellbore damage is restricting flow. TexxStim™ programs target three distinct mechanisms organic deposits, CaCO₃ scale, and formation damage using a surfactant forward chemistry system that delivers results straight acid cannot achieve alone.

THREE MECHANISMS, ONE PLATFORM
BUILT FOR THE CO-MINGLED FOULING PROFILE OF REAL WELLS
TexxStim™ programs target three distinct mechanisms organic deposits, CaCO₃ scale, and formation damage using a surfactant forward chemistry system that delivers results straight acid cannot achieve alone.
Saltwater disposal wells are a primary application. Operators managing declining injectivity face a combination of CaCO₃ scale, organic fouling from produced water carry over, and near wellbore plugging a co mingled profile that TexxStim™ multi-mechanism approach addresses directly.
HOW TEXXSTIM™ WORKS
CHALLENGE. SOLUTION. RESULT.
01
MECHANISM 1 · ORGANIC DETERGENCY
PARAFFIN & OILY RESIDUE REMOVAL
THE CHALLENGE
Oily residue, paraffin, and organic deposits accumulate in the wellbore, perforations, and near-wellbore zone over time. These deposits restrict fluid entry in injection wells and reduce production capacity in
producers. Acid alone does not dissolve or disperse organic material effectively. In SWD operations, produced water carry-over frequently deposits oily residue and paraffin in the wellbore and perforations a fouling pathway distinct from production wells but equally restrictive to injectivity.
TEXXSTIM™ SOLUTION
TexxStim™ surfactant-forward chemistry is formulated to dissolve, emulsify, and disperse organic deposits from contact surfaces. The surfactant package targets oily fouling that mineral acid passes over,
restoring flow pathways without requiring separate organic solvent treatments.
RESULTS
Removal of organic deposits that restrict injectivity or production, with measurable improvement in wellbore fluid entry and near-wellbore flow capacity.
02
MECHANISM 2 · SCALE DISSOLUTION
CaCO₃ SCALE CHEMISTRY
THE CHALLENGE
CaCO₃ scale builds up on tubulars, perforations, and in the near wellbore formation as produced or injected water chemistry changes. In disposal wells, scale progressively reduces injectivity. In producers, it restricts flow and reduces deliverability. Scale not chemically dissolved must be mechanically addressed a costlier, more disruptive intervention. SWD wells co-mingle water from multiple formation sources, making aggressive CaCO₃ scaling a routine maintenance issue.
TEXXSTIM™SOLUTION
TexxStim™ HCl-based scale dissolution chemistry, combined with scale-dissolving additives and corrosion inhibitors, targets CaCO₃ scale deposits on tubulars and in the near-wellbore zone. The additive package controls acid spending rate to ensure contact time with scale is sufficient for complete dissolution.
RESULTS
Restoration of tubular ID and perforation flow area, improved injectivity or production rate, and deferred need for mechanical scale intervention.
03
MECHANISM 3 · FORMATION WORMHOLING
CARBONATE FORMATION ACID PENETRATION
THE CHALLENGE
Near-wellbore formation damage or natural low permeability in carbonate formations can limit injectivity in disposal wells and restrict deliverability in producers. Restoring or improving formation-level flow requires live acid to reach beyond the damaged zone and create productive flow channels.
TEXXSTIM™ SOLUTION
TexxStim™ kinetic moderator chemistry extends live acid penetration during HCl wormhole stimulation, allowing acid to propagate deeper before spending. Longer, more connected wormhole networks create
higher-conductivity flow paths into the formation.
RESULTS
Improved formation-level injectivity or productivity, with wormhole networks that extend meaningfully beyond the near-wellbore damage zone.
